It pours a deep ruby red and opens with a generous nose of ripe blackberries, dark chili chocolate, roasted spices, and a hint of cigar box. On the palate, the wine is rich and enveloping, balancing dense dark fruit and espresso notes with a powerful backbone of tight, structured tannins that lead into a long, savory finish. Celebrating its exceptional quality, wine critic James Suckling awarded this vintage an impressive 93 points, cementing its status as a standout, high-character Italian red.
